The Saluting Their Service Commemorative Grants Program is designed to preserve Australia’s wartime heritage; involve people around the country in a wide range of projects and activities that highlight the service and sacrifice of Australia’s service personnel in wars, conflicts and peace operations; and promote appreciation and understanding of the experiences of service and the roles that those who served have played in shaping the nation.

Grants are available for a number of initiatives which includes restoration or installation work on things like flag poles.

The Australian Government has given you this opportunity to contribute in your way in preserving Australia’s wartime heritage.This grant can be used in many ways to assist local communities to help fund restoration work and flagpole installations, which are just some of the projects receiving support.
